Black, the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2027 class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking , has also visited Georgetown, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, and Arkansas.
One of the leading scorers on the EYBL Circuit this summer, Black averaged 21.7 points per game, while adding 4.0 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.
Black has won two consecutive gold medals with USA Basketball.
Rivals National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw has evaluated Black multiple times in person. Here's what he wrote about him in July:
There is a calming factor that Beckham Black brings to the floor that gives you confidence things will go smoothly. The 6-foot-3 point guard plays with great pace and balance as he navigates within the teeth of the defense. He is an adept passer, especially playing in the pick-and-roll, and he knocked down a variance of pull up jumpers and floaters. Black is strong and he processes well while defenders are on his hip. While he might not be the most dynamic lead guard, he is a high floor bet at the point-of-attack.
