Veronica Burton has had an awesome year for the Valkyries. She's the true definition of resiliency and the importance of finding a team that gives you a chance.
The 26-year-old was almost out of the WNBA a couple of years ago but has thrived in the Bay Area. The 5'9 guard can guard multiple positions and hit some insanely clutch shots in the playoffs.
She's a great 3-and-D player. Burton averaged 12.2 PPG and shot 35.5% from three-point range. The Northwestern product is the heartbeat of this team, and her energy has been infectious on this run to the WNBA Finals.

Some players go from stars to superstars in a playoff run. That's what happened with forward Gabby Williams . She was a great player for the Seattle Storm but has become legendary with Golden State. Williams is producing 22.7 points per game in the playoffs while dishing out four dimes a game.
Valkyries owner Joe Lacob called her " the best player in the world" and her play has proven that. Her ability to be consistent from three-point land was instrumental in taking down A'Ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals. The former UCONN Huskie product is shooting 40.5% from three in the playoffs.

You need depth if you want to make it to the WNBA Finals. That's exactly what guard Kaitlyn Chen provides for Golden State. She doesn't play too many minutes but is super effective when she's on the court.
The 24-year-old has dropped at least seven points in two of the last three games and doesn't turn the ball over. She's able to give guard Tiffany Hayes a rest, and the level of play doesn't drop. You never have to question her work ethic, and she is a favorite among Valkyries fans.
