This avoided a nightmare situation for the WNBA. The WNBA Finals is the league's biggest stage, and it deserves to be seen by as many people as possible. Angel Reese vs. Gabby Williams is one of the matchups worth the price of admission.
State Farm Arena's capacity is just over 17,000. The Dream will need every last fan to overcome a tough Golden State squad. The Valkyries have one of the best home-court advantages in the league. Chase Center, aka Ballhalla, holds just over 18,000. It gets LOUD in that arena.
The Dream were an absolutely dominant 8-0 at State Farm Arena during the 2026 regular season and playoffs. They swept the Washington Mystics and then dominated the New York Liberty on their path to the WNBA Finals.
The WNBA Finals begin at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday with the Valkyries hosting the Dream on NBC and Peacock.
